Why blog about small business networking?

Oh, so much to say, so little space. Okay, not really - I'll be quick and to the point. A) Why blog in the first place? Because it is an invaluable tool to help grow your business by increasing your visibility (SEO). The easier you are to find on the Internet, the more often you and your company appear on searches, the more visible you are. The more visible you are the more opportunities you'll have to build your credibilty by offering great information about your industry or things of importance to your target market. The more credible or trustworthy you are, the more people want to do business with you. So, I ask - why would a growing company NOT blog? Because they DON'T want to drive traffic to their website? Because they don't want to make more money?

Okay, that's covered. Now on to B) Why blog about small business networking? Networking, like blogging increases visibility, trust and profits. And, the best way to survive and thrive in ANY economy is to have a group of people who are bringing you work regardless of the economy, regardless of your prices. They bring you work simply because they like and trust you and want you to succeed. You cultivate that group of people through effective, strategic and targeted networking!

In future blogs I'll share with you how to tell if your networking is effective, strategic and targeted. I'll also give you tips on where, why, how and when to network. But for now, understand this: If you're a small business you need to either open doors to new contacts through networking or you'll end up closing your doors for good. Even if you do a lot of networking already, if you don't have ALL the business you want - you can get MORE from the networking you're doing.

I look forward to helping you become an expert networker and growing your business to new levels of success. Get ready to increase your visibilility and your bank account!! Here's to small business networking the right way!
